My phone shut itself off and wont turn back on

My phone just shut off..It wont come back on. Technician's Assistant: How old is the phone? Less then a year..maybe 6-7 months. Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried? Just did it a couple minutes ago..ive only tried to turn it back on..nothing

ok - my phone was fully charged (was charging on my laptop at the time) and I was whatsapping a friend and suddenly it just went black. No red light to indicate battery dying. Just black.
