No liquid spilling on keyboard, and the laptop has not been dropped. However, I should mention that Windows 10 crashed (possibly because the harddisk was full during a software update) about a year ago, and the laptop has been without power for almost a year. Soon after the crash I was able to boot a Linux OS from DVD, and did not notice a keyboard problem. It was after a year without power
